If I were you, I wouldn't base my choice around what I'm going to start with, the gear is somewhat easily obtained in-game eitherway. You can also upgrade your edition of the game after purchase. Yes, you are able to upgrade your stash in-game later on. I'm going to assume that each DLC will cost around 10-20USD. Your stash in-game is also currently determined by what package you own, depends on what you think you need (Personally, I don't think anyone needs 10圆0 unless you hoard all sorts of unnecessary items) The containers are used to extract loot safely, even if you die. However these packages are subject to change in what they will give in the future. The other editions (not sure about PFE) gets the Alpha Container, 2x2 inventory. All packages start with basically the same, the only difference worth note is that the EOD gets a Hatchet (multi-purpose tool + axe) and a Gamma Container which has a 3x3 inventory.
